Nintendo DS Goes Silver
A metallic silver version of the Nintendo DS is scheduled to ship this weekend.Nintendo last week announced the Metallic Silver Nintendo DS for release this weekend.
The new color joins a palette of seven individual DS colors, including Polar White, Onyx (Jet Black), Coral Pink, Crimson/Black, Cobalt/Black, Metallic Rose, and not Metallic Silver. It is scheduled to become available Sept. 7.
"Millions of people around the world, from core gamers to new players, have discovered Nintendo DS," Nintendo said in a statement. "Some like to play traditional games like New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS or The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Others use it to train their brains with Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day or solve puzzles with Crosswords DS."
According to Nintendo, there are more than 600 available DS games.
