Apple on Tuesday released a downloadable demo version of Ms. Pac-Man for the fifth-generation iPod. The iPod version was originally released in February, 2007, and if you like what you see, you can buy it for US$4.99.

As with all of Apple's premium games for the iPod, Ms. Pac-Man is designed specifically to run on fifth-generation or video iPods. Developed by Namco Networks America, it's an iPod version of the classic arcade game in which you navigate around a maze eating dots and being chased by ghosts. "Power pellets" enable you to eat the ghosts for a short time.

This demo version of Ms. Pac-Man lets you replay as many times as you want.
