Toll Free Yellow Pages Wednesday announced the launch of SearchBoth.com.au, the nation's first Web site that enables users to search both Google Inc. and Yahoo Inc. search engines at the same time.

Both Google and Yahoo are placed side by side on a split screen in order for users to easily compare results of both Web sites.

The company has also launched the same service for the UK with SearchBoth.co.uk, the U.S. with SearchBoth.com, and Canada with SearchBoth.com.ca.

All of the SearchBoth family of Web sites search both Google and Yahoo in their respective countries so users no longer need to be tied to just one engine.

According to Jupiter Research, users are expanding the number of search engines they use.

The company's research director, Zia Wigder, said the number of search engines people use grew from 2.5 in 2003 to 3.2 in 2005.

"We expect to see those numbers increase in the future," he said.
